In his role, Dave navigates a diverse landscape, overseeing facilities and maintenance, and ensuring that the company adheres to the highest standards of health & safety. As a key support to the Directors, he plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the gears of the company turn seamlessly.

A loyal contributor to Knaresborough Engineering for an impressive 35 years, Dave’s journey began on the shop floor as a fabricator and welder. Over the years, he seamlessly blended these hands-on skills with design and drafting, becoming a versatile asset for both internal and customer-based projects.

What Dave finds most gratifying about his role is the opportunity to engage with customers at all levels. From initial discussions to the design and specification of projects, every interaction is a chance to bring visions to life and surpass expectations.

Dave is a passionate petrolhead and steam aficionado. Beyond the workplace, you’ll catch him immersed in his love for mechanics, whether covered in coal soot while tinkering with his half-scale steam vehicle or underneath an engine bay, hands coated in oil. Alternatively, you might find him navigating historic rally circuits, with a cup of tea in one hand and a spanner in the other.
