This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of Knaresborough Engineering, including employees (whether permanent, temporary, fixed-term, or agency), contractors, consultants, trainees, and any other third parties associated with us. This policy also applies to our supply chains and any organisations we do business with.
3. Definition of Modern Slavery
Modern slavery refers to:
Slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labour: Situations where individuals are coerced to work through threats, violence, or abuse of power.

Knaresborough Engineering has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place within our business or supply chains. Our approach includes:

5. Responsibilities
All employees, suppliers, and contractors of Knaresborough Engineering have a responsibility to report any concerns they may have regarding modern slavery in any part of the business or supply chain. Employees are expected to adhere to this policy and ensure they are vigilant in their work to identify potential risks.
Management
The senior management team is responsible for ensuring the ongoing implementation of this policy and for reviewing it regularly.
Supply Chain
All suppliers are expected to adhere to the same high ethical standards, and we will terminate contracts with any suppliers found to be in violation of the Modern Slavery Act.
6. Raising a Concern
If you suspect that modern slavery is occurring within Knaresborough Engineering, or in our supply chain, you must report it to your line manager or directly to the compliance manager, Ms Debbie Quick. We guarantee confidentiality and will take appropriate action to investigate any concerns.
This Health and Safety policy will be reviewed and updated regularly.
