We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy working environment, in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, and all other applicable legislation.

We recognise that the effective management of health and safety is crucial to our business success and are committed to continuous improvement in this area.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees (whether permanent, temporary, or agency), contractors, visitors, and anyone else who might be affected by our activities. It covers all sites and locations where we operate.

3. Our Responsibilities

Knaresborough Engineering takes responsibility for health and safety management, ensuring that:
– Risks to health and safety are identified, assessed, and controlled as far as reasonably practicable.
– Safe and healthy working conditions are provided and maintained, with proper systems in place for managing health, safety, and welfare.
– All employees receive the necessary information, training, instruction, and supervision to work safely and avoid risks to their health.
– Accidents, incidents, and near-misses are reported, investigated, and used as opportunities to improve our safety performance.
– Procedures are in place to respond effectively to emergencies, including first aid, fire safety, and evacuation processes.

4. Employee Responsibilities
