Meet Pete Cropper, the dedicated Quality Control expert at Knaresborough Engineering. Often dubbed the font of never-ending knowledge, Pete takes pride in ensuring that all finished products align with customers’ exact requirements before release. Beyond quality control, he shares best practices with less experienced team members and boosts morale with his angelic singing.

With a remarkable tenure of just shy of 30 years, Pete brings a wealth of experience as a fully qualified sheet metal worker, holding the esteemed City and Guilds of London standard and an internationally recognised trade examination board qualification.

What Pete finds most rewarding about his job is the collaboration with other departments to establish optimal procedures, assist colleagues in expanding their knowledge base, and collectively achieve outstanding results for the company.

Outside of work, Pete has a keen interest in rugby league and cooking, finding joy and relaxation in these simple yet fulfilling pastimes.
